Oakland University students from faraway Univesity of Valle in Cali, Colombia were welcomed to the OU campus last week by Chancellor D.B. Varner, right, and Herb Stoutenburg, Director of Student Affairs, second from left. Renato Fuchs, left, a fourth-year chemical engineering student, and attractive Amparo Castaneda, a third-year humanities student, will study at Oakland for two semesters as part of the partners of the Alliance under the Alliance for Progress program. OU Honor students Marjorie Hannah, Royal Oak, and Dennis Parle, Pontiac, are now enrolled at the University of Vall--as the other half of the exchange
