Contains a letter from Edwin Booth to Adam Badeau about his reaction to Lincoln's assassination by his brother John Wilkes Booth ; another anecdote about Edwin Booth saving the life of Robert Todd Lincoln, and a correction that it was Joseph Booth, not Edwin, who identified Booth's body before burial at Green Mount Cemetery.
