OU student speaks in support of Senate Bill 685, a supplemental approriations bill for small universities, vetoed by Gov. Romney.: "Though the legislature did not override the veto, the drive evoked more student interest and participation than nearly any other activity to date. Students collected 3,122 signatures on petitions, staged a Gold Room meeting with eight local legislators; and had Mrs. Matilda R. Wilson make the petition presentation to the legislators."
