Abstract
-
Starr writes to tell Black about the story of David E. George and the claims of an alleged daughter of Booth. He compliments Black's writing and says that he wrote to Finis Bates, but received no reply. His postscript mentions Admiral George W. Baird, of Washington, who was one of the men who identified Booth's body.
