Abstract
Rainey informs Black that the photographs arrived safely. He describes his research, saying he has established that Franklin Robey lived long past the Civil War, and could not have been killed at Garrett's farm. He was also able to see Booth's boot in the War Department archives and found it to be for the left foot. He took a photo, which he will share with Black.
