Dear Mr. Black:
I thank you very much for the copies of the Dearborn Independent. Somehow the importance of your magazine had escaped me and I am very grateful to your for making me acquainted with it. The Lincoln articles were of especial [sic] interest but I found many other articles in the magazine particular those of a historical character that appealed to me. In addition to my Lincoln collection I have rather a general collection and I would be very glad to have you go over it when you are in Chicago.

Yours very truly,
Oliver R. Barrett
